This is digitally done piece similar to the CRU Trooper piece and has a text box with this information next to it I didn’t really base this one of any particular time period or solider but it does gain a lot of influence from US marines:
With the destruction of earth by an ever-growing sun came the creation of a new force for the humans now living the rings that keep the sun from engulfing the whole system. This new force is the frontiersmen a military created from what remained of earths military all combined into one fighting force with the task to secure territory on the dangerous frontier of space so that it may colonized. For humanities survival and there journey into the stars
